We took the car out on friday, April 19, 2006 to Test-n-tune and the car did pretty good, considering I have yet to tune it.
We made a total of three passes…Out of the trailer, it ran 6.87, 2nd pass it ran 6.68 and the third pass it ran 6.56.
All passes were on the motor only. We intended on making the third pass a nitrous pass, but we had problems
getting the solenoids to function properly.

On January 8th, 2006 we took the car across the street to take some photos
and video, and just take it for a leisurely test drive.

On January 7th, 2006 we got the new 512 CID motor fired up for the very first time!
We worked for about 8 hours getting her all buttoned up and ready to go.
We ran into a few minor snags here and there, but overall it was probably
the smoothest motor install I could have hoped for.
The first time we fired it, the motor rumbled so hard it rattled things off the shelves
and knocked a clock off the wall. You can see it in the video. Check it out!

On January 6th, 2006 we finally got the new 512 CID motor mounted into the car.
In the past, this had taken about 3 hours to get done.
Somehow, Dwayne and I got er done in 50 minutes!

The car still ran 12.00 flat coasting from half track!
